부경대, 2022년 8월 학위수여식 개최

- 26일 대학극장에서 온·오프라인으로 … 1,242명 졸업

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수)는 8월 26일 오전 대학극장에서 2022년 8월 학위수여식을 온·오프라인 방식으로 개최했다.

부경대의 2022년 8월 학위수여자는 박사 82명, 석사 250명 학사 910명 등 총 1,242명이다.

이날 행사에서 학부 성적 우수자로 김미지(응용수학과) 학생이 총장상, 송지범(기계조선융합공학과) 학생이 총동창회장상을 받았다.

부경대는 졸업생들이 교정에서 추억을 쌓을 수 있도록 향유고래 형상의 학교 상징 캐릭터 ‘백경이’ 대형 탈인형과 기념 촬영을 하는 이벤트도 이날 진행했다.

장영수 총장은 이날 학위수여식사에서 “영예로운 학위를 취득한 여러분이 한없이 대견하고 자랑스럽다.”라면서, “때로는 여러분 앞에 펼쳐질 현실이 냉혹하고 힘들지도 모르지만, 지금까지 스스로 일군 것들을 얕보지 마시라. 여러분은 이미 많은 것을 해냈다.”라고 강조했다.

이어 “새로운 출발이 주는 막연한 두려움을 즐기고, 또 다른 자신을 발견하는 놀라운 경험을 해보기를 바란다.”라며, “여러분의 한 걸음 한 걸음이 자신은 물론 이웃과 지역, 국가와 세상에 대한 사랑으로 이어지기를 기원한다.”라고 당부했다. <부경투데이>

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held the August 2022 degree conferment ceremony online and offline at the university theater on the morning of August 26th.

Pukyong National University has a total of 1,242 degree recipients in August 2022, including 82 Ph.D. students, 250 masters, and 910 bachelors.

At the ceremony, students Kim Mi-Ji (department of applied mathematics) received the President's Award and Song Jin-Beom (department of mechanical and shipbuilding convergence engineering) received the president award from the alumni association for outstanding undergraduate grades at the event.

Pukyong University also held an event to take a commemorative photo with a large masked doll of the university mascot 'Baekyong(ee)' in the shape of a sperm whale so that graduates could build memories on campus.

President Jang Young-Soo emphasized at the graduation ceremony that day, saying, "I am so proud and proud of all of you who have earned an honorable degree," he added, "Sometimes the reality that lies ahead of you may be grim and difficult, but don't underestimate the things you've accomplished so far. You've already made things a lot."
