부산 16개大 학생들, 한 기숙사서 부산 문제해결 팀 꾸렸다
- 부경대, 행복기숙사생 대상 ‘부산지역 문제해결 팀 프로젝트’ 운영

부산지역 16개 대학 학생들이 부경대학교 행복기숙사에서 생활하며 부산지역 문제를 해결하기 위해 머리를 맞댔다.

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수)는 대연캠퍼스 내 행복기숙사에 거주하고 있는 16개 대학 학생들을 대상으로 ‘부산지역 문제해결 팀 프로젝트’ 프로그램을 개설하고 본격 운영에 나섰다고 11월 4일 밝혔다.

이 프로그램은 각기 다른 대학, 다른 전공인 대학생들이 부산지역 문제해결을 주제로 팀 프로젝트를 진행하며 문제해결 능력과 협동심을 키우는 비교과 교육프로그램이다.

부경대는 행복기숙사에 부산지역 대학 학생 천여 명이 함께 거주하고 있다는 점에 착안해 이 프로그램을 기획했다. 참가자 선발과 심사를 거쳐 모두 9팀 25명의 학생들이 이 프로그램에 참가한다. 

이들이 선택한 주제는 △동남권 메가시티 △개인형 공유이동장치 주차문제 및 안전문제 △부산시 공공배달앱 확장 △전동 킥보드 주차 문제 개선 △부산시 폭우에 의한 침수 대책 △일자리 정책을 통한 부산 인구구조 개선 방안 등 도시개발 정책부터 일상 관련 정책에 이르기까지 다양하다. 

이들은 이달부터 12월까지 프로젝트 활동을 진행하고, 내년 1월 성과발표회를 개최할 예정이다. 각 팀의 아이디어는 부산시 시민제안에도 공모할 계획이다.

한편 부경대는 교수학습지원센터를 주관으로 이번 프로그램을 비롯해 행복기숙사 거주 학생들을 대상으로 한 컴퓨터활용 및 건강증진 등 특강을 확대 개설 운영하기로 했다. <부경투데이>

Students from 16 universities in the Busan city gathered in Pukyong National University's Happy Dormitory and put their heads together to form a solution for local issues in Busan.

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced on November 4 that it had opened and started managing the ‘Local Problem-solving Team Project of Busan’ program for 16 university students who are living in the happy dormitory on the Daeyeon Campus.

This program is a non-curricular education program in which university students from different universities and different majors develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and collaboration by conducting team projects with the theme of finding solution for local issues in Busan.

Pukyong National University designed this program with the idea that about 1,000 students from universities in the Busan are living together in the Happy Dormitory. After selection and screening of participants, a total of 25 students from 9 teams will participate in this program.

The topics that students chose are △mega-city in the southeast region, △parking and safety issues for personal mobility devices, △expansion of public delivery apps in Busan, △improvement of parking problems for electric scooters, △measures to prevent flooding from heavy rain, and ways to improve population structure through job policies etc., ranging from urban development policies to daily-related policies.

The students will carry out project activities from this month to December and hold a conference in January next year. Each team's ideas will be open to the public for proposals from the city of Busan.

Pukyong National University decided to run and manage this program, as well as special lectures on computer application and health promotion education for students living in Happy Dormitory, under the supervision of the Center for Teaching & Learning. <Pukyong Today>
