부경대생, 2022 현대모비스 자동차용품 공모전 ‘최우수’
- 이보민·고민주 학생 … ‘펫 모듈 키트 캐리어’로 상금 300만원

‘반려동물용 카시트·카매트로 변신하는 모듈 키트’
국립부경대학교 공업디자인전공 4학년 이보민, 고민주 학생(지도교수 조정형)의 ‘펫 모듈 키트 캐리어(Pet Module Kit Carrier)’ 아이디어가 2022 현대모비스 자동차용품 공모전에서 최우수상을 받았다.
이 공모전은 다양한 자동차 문화에 맞는 자동차용품을 공모한 것으로, 부경대생들은 대학(원)생 및 일반인 참가자 가운데 가장 뛰어난 작품을 인정받아 상장과 상금 300만 원을 받았다.
부경대생들의 수상 작품은 접는 방식에 따라 한 개 좌석에 설치하는 카시트로도 사용할 수 있고, 뒷열의 두 개 좌석에 걸쳐 카매트로도 설치할 수 있는 다용도 모듈 키트다.
부경대생들은 최근 반려동물 시장이 급성장하는 가운데 반려동물과 함께 자동차로 이동할 때 다양하고 편리하게 활용할 수 있는 자동차용품이 필요하다는 점에 착안해 차량에서 카시트, 카매트로 활용하고, 손잡이를 부착해 차량 밖에서도 손쉽게 이동할 수 있도록 작품을 디자인했다.
이 작품은 샘플 평가를 통해 구현 가능성은 물론, 시중제품 대비 편의성, 디자인 등 우수성을 인정받았다.
부경대생들은 이 모듈 키트를 사용하면 안전하고 편안한 이동은 물론, 상황에 맞게 변형할 수 있어 편리하게 사용할 수 있고 반려동물의 스트레스도 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대했다. <부경투데이>

PKNU student won the ‘best prize’ at the car supplies contest hosted by Hyundai mobis

‘A module kit that transforms into a car seat or car mat for pets’
The idea of ‘pet module kit carrier’ by Lee Bo-Min and Koh Min-Joo (advisory prof. Cho Jung-Hyoung), who are 4th graders studying industrial design at Pukyong National University, won the best prize at the car supplies contest hosted by Hyundai mobis 2022.
This contest was for car supplies that fit various automobile cultures, and Pukyong National University students were recognized for their most outstanding works among university students (incl. graduates) and the public and received a certificate of award and 3 million won cash prize.
Pukyong National University students' award-winning works are multi-purpose module kits that can be used as a car seat for one seat depending on how they are folded or installed as a car mat for two seats in the back row.
This work, which can be used as a car seat or car mat and can be easily handled by attaching a handle outdoor, Pukyong National University students designed the module kit focused on the need for various and convenient car accessories when moving with companion animals by car due to the rapid growth of the recent pet market.
As a result of sampling and evaluation, this work was recognized for its practicality as well as its superiority in convenience and design compared to commercial products.
Pukyong National University students expected that the use of this module kit would enable a safe and comfortable ride, and at the same time allow for convenient use as it can be modified according to the situation, and ultimately, it will also reduce the stress on pets from riding.
