부경대생, 한국사물인터넷학회 종합학술학회 우수 논문상

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수) 컴퓨터공학전공 4학년 이서준, 하성호 학생팀이 ‘2022년 한국사물인터넷학회 종합학술대회’에서 우수 논문상을 수상했다.

이들은 최근 부경대에서 열린 이번 전국 종합학술대회에서 논문 ‘딥페이크를 이용한 헤어스타일링 데모 기법’(지도교수 김태국)으로 우수 연구성과를 인정받았다.

부경대생들은 이번 수상 논문에서 한 장의 사진을 업로드하면 얼굴형에 맞는 맞춤형 헤어스타일이 합성된 딥페이크 동영상을 생성해, 여러 방향에서의 헤어스타일을 동영상으로 가상 체험할 수 있다는 연구결과를 밝혀 우수한 평가를 받았다.

김태국 지도교수는 “학생들이 학부에서 배운 컴퓨터공학 지식을 활용해 실생활에 활용될 수 있는 제품을 직접 설계하고, 인공지능을 접목해 소프트웨어를 구현하여 좋은 결과를 얻은 것 같다.”라고 말했다.

한국사물인터넷학회는 한국연구재단 학술지평가에서 우수성을 인정받아 등재 학술지로 선정된 논문지를 발간하고 있다. <부경투데이>

PKNU student won the best award at the conference of the Korean Internet of Things Society

A student team of seniors, Lee Seo-Joon and Ha Seong-Ho, majoring in computer engineering at Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo), won the best paper award at the 2022 conference hosted by the Korea Internet of Things Society.

They were recently recognized for their excellent research results at the National Academic Conference held at Pukyong National University for their thesis, ‘hairstyling demonstration techniques using deepfake’ (Advisory Prof. Kim Tae-Kook).

With this award-winning work, students received good reviews by proving the results of research that, when a portrait photo is uploaded, a deepfake video in which a customized hairstyle suitable for the face shape is synthesized and automatically created, allowing students to virtually experience hairstyles from various directions as a video.

Kim Tae-Kook, the advisory professor said, “I think that students have achieved good results by designing products that can be used in real life by using the knowledge related to computer science learned in undergraduate school, applying artificial intelligence, and implementing software.”

The Korean Internet of Things Society has been recognized for its excellence in a journal evaluation conducted by the National Research Foundation of Korea and has been publishing journals by selecting NRF registered journals. <Pukyong Today>
