부경대·BNK금융그룹·동서대, 디지털금융 인재 육성 ‘맞손’

- 신설 ‘디지털금융학과’로 글로컬 산학연계형 금융교육 추진

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수)와 BNK금융그룹(회장 빈대인), 동서대학교(총장 장제국)는 6월 7일 오후 부산은행 본점(부산 문현동) 20층 대회의실에서 디지털금융 인재 양성을 위한 글로컬 산학협력 협약을 체결했다.

장영수 총장과 빈대인 회장, 장제국 총장은 이날 협약을 통해 부산 지역 산학연계형 금융교육 인프라 구축과 상호 발전을 위해 협력한다.

부경대와 동서대의 공동학위를 수여하는 첨단학과 ‘디지털금융학과’가 내년에 신설됨에 따라, 세 기관은 산학연계형 금융교육 지원을 통해 부산 지역 디지털금융공학 전문인력 육성에 협력을 확대할 계획이다.

이 학과에 입학하는 부경대와 동서대 학생들은 양 대학에 오가며 강의를 듣고 학점을 취득하고, BNK금융그룹의 산학연계형 금융교육 지원을 통해 디지털 금융중심지로 도약하고 있는 부산의 핀테크 전문인재로 성장할 수 있게 된다.

이를 위해 BNK금융그룹은 사내 전문가를 산학연계 교육과정의 개발 및 운영을 위해 적극 지원하고, 양 대학은 BNK금융그룹 재직자를 대상으로 석·박사급 학위과정 교육을 지원할 계획이다.

또 각 기관은 디지털금융공학 연구 활성화를 위한 연구 및 협력과제를 지원하고, 공동 학술대회 개최 및 대학 내 혁신성장기업을 대상으로 한 설명회와 맞춤형 컨설팅 등을 지원한다.

각 기관은 기관 간 협력은 물론, 지역 금융의 발전과 금융교육의 효과적인 추진을 위해 타 기관들과의 협력을 확대하며 지역과 현장 중심의 학습 운영체계를 구축해 미래 산업을 선도하고, 세계에서 활약하는 글로벌 인재를 양성하는 데 시너지 효과를 얻을 것으로 기대하고 있다. <부경투데이>

PKNU, BNK financial group, and Dongseo university join hands to nurture talents in digital finance

- promoting glocal industry-academia-linked financial education with the new dept., 'Digital finance’

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo), BNK financial group (chairman Bin Dae-In), and Dongseo university (president Chang Je-Kuk) signed a global industry-university cooperation agreement to nurture digital finance talents in the conference room located on the 20th floor of the Busan bank headquarters (Munhyeon-dong, Busan) on the afternoon of June 7.

President Jang Young-Soo, chairman Bin Dae-In, and president Chang Je-Kuk agreed to cooperate for mutual development and establishment of an industry-university-linked financial education infrastructure in Busan.

As the 'department of digital finance', a high-tech department that allows students to receive a joint degree from Pukyong National University and Dongseo university, will be established next year, the three institutions will cooperate in fostering digital financial engineering professionals in the Busan area through support for industry-academia-linked financial education.

Pukyong National University and Dongseo university students who enter this department can take lectures at both universities, earn credits, and grow into fintech experts in Busan, which is leaping into a digital financial center through BNK financial group’s support for industry-academia-linked financial education.

BNK financial group will actively supports in-house experts for the development and operation of industry-academia-linked curriculum, and both universities plan to support master's and doctoral degree course education for current employees of BNK Financial Group.

In addition, each institution will support research and cooperation tasks to vitalize digital financial engineering research, hold joint academic conferences, briefings for innovative growth companies within universities, and support customized consulting.

Each institution is expected to lead the future industry by expanding cooperation with other institutions for the development of regional finance and effective promotion of financial education, as well as cooperation between institutions, and establishing a learning operating system centered on the region and field.
