부경대, 2학기 외국인 신입생 오리엔테이션 개최

- 31일 대학극장 … 57개국 560명 입학

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수)는 31일 오후 대학극장에서 2023학년도 2학기 외국인 신입생 오리엔테이션을 개최했다.

이번 학기에 부경대에 입학한 외국인 신입생은 중국, 일본, 미얀마, 베트남 등 57개국 560명이다. 이들은 이날 오리엔테이션을 시작으로 대학원(198명), 학부(61명), 교환학생(91명), 어학연수(210명) 등 과정 이수에 나선다.

부경대 국제교류본부(본부장 김현우)는 이날 오리엔테이션에서 학사정보와 유학생 지원 프로그램 소개를 비롯해 풍물·태권도 동아리 공연, 성폭력 예방 교육, 캠퍼스 안내 등 프로그램을 진행했다.

한편 부경대에는 올해 4월 기준 학·석·박사과정, 석박사통합과정, 교환학생, 어학연수과정에 68개국 1,565명의 외국인 유학생이 재학하고 있다.

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) held an orientation for new international students enrolled in the second semester of 2023 at the campus theater on the afternoon of August 31.

The number of foreign freshmen enrolled at Pukyong National University this semester is 560 from 57 countries, including China, Japan, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Starting with orientation on this day, they will study and complete graduate school (198 students), undergraduate program (61 students), exchange student program (91 students), and language training courses (210 students).

The office of international affairs Pukyong National University (director Kim Hyun-Woo) provided various programs at the orientation that day, including introduction about academic information and support programs for international students, performances by the Pungmulnori and Taekwondo club, education to prevent sexual violence, and campus information.

As of April this year, Pukyong National University has 1,565 international students from 68 countries enrolled in bachelor, master, doctoral programs, integrated master and doctoral programs, exchange student programs, and language training programs.
