부경대, 국립대학 육성사업 연차평가 ‘우수’

- 사업비 45억4,000만 원 … 대학 경쟁력 강화 매진

부경대학교(총장 장영수)가 교육부와 한국연구재단의 2020년도 국립대학 육성사업 연차평가에서 우수한 평가를 받았다.

부경대는 이번 평가로 지난해 대비 11억2,000만 원 증액된 45억4,000만 원의 사업비를 지원받게 됐다.

국립대학육성사업은 국립대학의 공적 역할과 경쟁력을 강화하고 우수 지역인재 양성 및 지역 균형 발전을 위해 지원하는 사업이다.

2018년부터 2022년까지 5개년 사업으로 진행되며, 각 대학은 대학 규모를 반영한 포뮬러 수식에 따른 연속 사업비와 연차 평가에 따른 차등 사업비를 합한 예산을 지원받게 된다.      

이번 연차평가에서 부경대는 대학 비전과 발전계획, 육성사업 주요 추진전략의 체계적 연계와 함께 부산공동대학혁신센터, BNU 4 NET 공동사업, 국립대학자원관리시스템 운용 및 개선 등 대학협력 네트워크 활성화와 수행성과 등에서 우수한 평가를 받았다.

부경대는 지난 17일 발표된 대학기본역량진단 가결과에서도 일반재정지원대학으로 선정되는 등 대학 발전계획에 따른 특성화 및 자율혁신에 힘을 쏟고 있다. <부경투데이>

PKNU was rated 'Excellent' on an annual valuation for the National University Development Project

- Project cost KRW 4.54 billion … Concentrate all efforts on strengthening the competitiveness of the university

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) received an excellent evaluation in the annual valuation of the National University Promotion Project 2020 by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF).

Through this evaluation, Pukyong National University is eligible to receive a project cost of KRW 4.54 billion, an increase of KRW 1.12 billion compared to last year.

The National University Development Project is a project to strengthen the public role and competitiveness of national universities and to support universities to nurture outstanding local talents and develop balanced regional development.

This project will be conducted as a five-year business from 2018 to 2022, and each university will receive a budget that combines the continuous project cost according to the formula that reflects the size of the university and the differential project cost according to the annual evaluation.

In this annual valuation, Pukyong National University received an excellent evaluation in terms of revitalization of the university cooperation network and performance including its systematically linked university vision, development plan, and main promotion strategy of the development project, and activates the university cooperation network such as the Busan Joint University Innovation Center, the BNU 4 NET joint project, and the operation and improvement of the national university resource management system.

Pukyong National University is concentrating its efforts on specialization and autonomous innovation according to the university development plan, such as being selected as an eligible university for general financial assistance in the preliminary results of the university evaluation index announced on the 17th. <Pukyong Today>
