부경대 동문들, 대학 교수로 ‘활약’

- 경상국립대 교수 임용 이태호 동문(수교과) 등 10명

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수) 동문들의 대학 교수 임용 소식이 잇따르고 있다.

수해양산업교육과는 이태호 동문(04학번)이 3월 1일자로 경상국립대학교 해양경찰시스템학과 교수로 임용됐다고 밝혔다.

이 동문은 전북대에서 공학박사를 취득했고, 문화재청 및 군산대에서 국가공무원으로 근무 후 한국폴리텍대학 교수를 거쳐 경상국립대에 임용됐다.

이와 함께 간호학과는 대학원의 하명남 동문(박사19학번)이 동의과학대학교 교수로 임용됐다고 전해왔다.

간호학과는 지난해 류정미(석사14·박사18학번), 배은정(석사14·박사18학번), 조효정(석사14·박사18학번) 동문이 각각 부산과학기술대, 부산가톨릭대, 울산과학대 교수로 임용된 바 있다.

전기공학부 제어계측공학전공은 지난해 정재훈 동문(08학번)이 군산대 교수로 임용된 데 이어 올해 최우영 동문(08학번)이 계명대 교수로 임용됐다고 밝혔다.

지난해 4월과 9월, 올해 3월 1일자 부경대 신임교원 명단에도 동문들의 이름이 올랐다.

김찬희 동문(생물공학과 90학번)과 이승형 동문(양식학과 98학번)이 수산생명과학부 양식응용생명과학전공 교수로 임용됐고, 김종오 동문(미생물학과 96학번)이 미생물학과, 석우찬 동문(조선해양시스템공학과 05학번)이 에너지수송시스템공학부 조선해양시스템공학전공, 이성일 동문(해양생산관리학과 93학번)이 해양생산시스템관리학부, 이제헌 동문(냉동공조공학전공 02학번)이 에너지수송시스템공학부 냉동공조공학전공, 이동훈 동문(기계시스템공학과 12학번)이 에너지수송시스템공학부 기계시스템공학전공 교수로 각각 임용됐다. <부경투데이>

Alumni of PKNU are 'highly active' as university professors

- The 10 alumni professors including Lee Tae-Ho at Gyeongsang National University (Fisheries education)

The series of good news that graduates of Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) have been employed as university professors is continuing in succession.

The Department of Fisheries Education officially announced that Lee Tae-Ho (Enrolled year '04) has been appointed as a professor of the Department of Maritime Police Systems at Gyeongsang National University on March 1st.

Lee received a doctorate in engineering from Chonbuk National University, worked as a national public official at the Cultural Heritage Administration and Kunsan University, and was finally appointed to Gyeongsang National University after serving as a professor at Korea Polytechnic University.

At the same time, the Department of Nursing has announced that graduate Ha Myung-Nam (enrolled year '19, Ph.D) has been appointed as a professor at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology.

In the Department of Nursing, Ryu Jeong-Mi (enrolled Master's course in '14 · Ph.D '18) , Bae Eun-Jeong (enrolled Master's course in '14 · Ph.D '18), and Jo Hyo-Jeong (enrolled Master's course in '14 · Ph.D '18) have been hired as professors at Busan Institute of Science and Technology, Catholic University of Pusan, and Ulsan College respectively, last year.

The Department of Electrical Engineering's Department of Control and Instrumentation Engineering announced that graduate Jeong Jae-Hoon (enrolled year '08) has been appointed as a professor at Kunsan National University last year, and alumnus Choi Woo-Young (Enrolled in '08) has been appointed as a professor at Keimyung University this year.

In April and September of last year, and on March 1 of this year, the names of alumni have been also added to the list of new professors at Pukyong National University.

Among the Alumni of Pukyong National University, Kim Chan-Hee (Dept. of Biotechnology, enrolled year '90) and Lee Seung-Hyeong (Dept. of Aquaculture, 98') have been appointed as professors in the Department of Marine Bio-Materials & Aquaculture, and Kim Jong-O (Dept. Microbiology, 96') took office as a professor at Microbiology, Seok Woo-Chan (Naval Architecture and Marine Systems Engineering, '05) at Major of Naval Architecture and Marine Systems Engineering in the Division of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering, Lee Seong-il (Marine Production System Management '93) at Division of Marine Production System Management, Lee Je-Heon (Major of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, enrolled in '02) at Major of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering in the Division of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering, and Lee Dong-Hoon (Mechanical System Engineering, enrolled year '12) has been appointed as a professor of the Mechanical System Engineering Major in Division of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineering respectively. <Pukyong Today>
