대학판 학교생활기록부 ‘올인원 성적증명서’ 나왔다

- 부경대, 학점에 공모전·취창업 등 비교과 실적도 성적증명서로 공인

대학 입시에 고교 학교생활기록부를 활용하는 것처럼 취업에 활용할 수 있는 대학판 학교생활기록부가 나와 눈길을 끈다.

국립부경대학교(총장 장영수)는 교과활동을 증명하는 학점과 성적은 물론, 공모전, 취·창업활동, 봉사활동 등 비교과활동까지 증명하는 성적증명서를 발급한다고 밝혔다.

지금까지의 대학 성적증명서는 수강 교과목과 성적, 학점, 평점, 백분율 등이 한 쪽짜리 문서로 출력되는 것이 일반적이었다.

이 때문에 학생이나 졸업생들은 기업 채용 서류전형에 응시할 때 자신의 역량을 증명하기 위해 성적증명서를 비롯해 공모전 참가 내역이나 취·창업 특강 이수 내역, 진로 및 봉사활동 내역 등의 증명서를 따로 준비해야만 했다.

부경대가 올해부터 발급하는 성적증명서에는 전공, 교양과 같은 교과 성적은 물론, 다양한 비교과 활동들이 △학습역량 △진로심리 △취창업 △기타 등 4개 분야로 나뉘어 과정명과 주요활동내용, 이수시간, 유형, 활동기간 등으로 기재된다.

학생들의 활동량에 따라 4~5쪽, 혹은 그 이상의 분량으로 성적증명서가 출력되며, 기재된 모든 활동이 학교로부터 공인된다.

이를 위해 부경대는 학내에서 운영 중인 180여 개 비교과 프로그램을 통합 지원하는 플랫폼 ‘웨일비’ 구축을 완료하고 올해부터 운영에 들어갔다.

학생들이 전공이나 교양과목 수강신청을 하는 것처럼 이곳에서 다양한 공모전, 취·창업활동, 봉사활동 등을 신청하고 모든 활동을 마치면 이수내역이 성적증명서에 자동 연계, 표기되는 방식이다.

부경대 김영목 학생처장은 “부경대 성적증명서가 교과성적은 물론 대학에서 활동한 많은 활동 정보를 취합해 학생들의 역량을 종합적으로 평가할 수 있는 자료를 제공하고, 학생들이 다양한 방면에서 활동하며 융·복합적인 능력을 키우는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.”라고 밝혔다. <부경투데이>

University version of cumulative records, a new ‘all-in-one record’

Just as high school records are used for admission to the university, the university version of school records that can be used for job-finding is attracting public attention.

Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-Soo) announced that it will issue transcripts certifying not only credits and grades proving academic activities, but also non-extracurricular activities, including contest activities, employment and start-up activities, and volunteer activities.

Until now, university records have generally been printed as one-page documents that indicate the subjects students took, their grades, credits, grade point average, and percentages.

For this reason, to prove their competence, students or graduates had to prepare separate certificates including school records, details of participation in contests, details of employment and start-up lectures, and details of career and volunteering activities when applying to the company's document screening.

The record cards issued by Pukyong National University from this year includes subject scores such as major and liberal arts, as well as various extracurricular activities written in the name of the course, main activity contents, completion time, type, activity period divided into four fields including learning competency, career psychology, employment and start-up, and others.

Record cards are printed in 4-5 pages or more depending on the activity level of the students, and all activities listed are certified by the school.

For the new school records, Pukyong National University built a platform 'whalebe' that integrated support for over 180 extracurricular programs operated on campus and started operation this year.

Just like registering for majors or liberal arts courses, here, students apply for various contests, employment, start-up activities, and volunteer activities, and when complete all the activities, the details of the completion are automatically linked and marked on record cards.

Kim Young-Mok, director of the student affairs office, said, "I expect Pukyong National University's new record cards provide data to comprehensively evaluate students’ abilities by collecting not only course grades but also a lot of information about activities performed during campus life, and help students develop convergence and complex abilities while working in various fields." <Pukyong Today>
