부경대 도서관 2022년 대출 순위 1위 ‘아몬드’

- 소설·과학서·자기계발서 등 순위권에

부경대학교 도서관(관장 김철수)의 2022년 최다 대출 도서는 <아몬드>(손원평 저)였다.

감정을 느끼지 못하는 한 소년의 특별한 성장 이야기를 담은 이 소설은 2017년 출간 이후 꾸준히 인기를 얻고 있는 베스트셀러다. 제10회 창비청소년문학상 수상작.

<아몬드>에 이어 소설 <달러구트 꿈 백화점>(이미예 저)이 부경대생들이 지난해 가장 많이 빌린 책 2위에 올랐다. 이 책은 연세대 도서관에서도 대출 순위 1위였다.

3위는 드라마로도 제작돼 큰 인기를 끈 바 있는 소설 <파친코>(이민진 저), 4위는 <달러구트 꿈 백화점2>, 5위는 베스트셀러 SF소설 <지구에서 한아뿐>(정세랑)으로 나타났다.

이어 6위는 SF소설 <우리가 빛의 속도로 갈 수 없다면>(김초엽 저)이었다. 이 책은 지난해 국립중앙도서관이 공공도서관 대출 현황을 분석한 결과 최근 3년간 20대가 가장 많이 대출한 책이었다. 7위에는 소설 <불편한 편의점>(김호연)이 올랐다.

과학도서도 많이 읽혔다. 환경 분야 과학도서의 고전으로 불리는 <침묵의 봄>(레이첼 카슨 저)이 8위에 올랐다. 1962년 출간된 이 책은 살충제의 생태 영향에 관한 연구결과를 집대성해 세계인들의 환경문제에 대한 인식을 바꾸는 등 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

9위는 ‘방송계의 퓰리처상’으로 불리는 피버디상(Peabody Awards)을 수상한 과학전문기자 룰루 밀러가 지은 <물고기는 존재하지 않는다>였고, 10위에는 3년 연속 베스트셀러에 오른 자기계발서 <타이탄의 도구들>(팀 페리스 저)이었다.

한편 부경대 도서관은 단행본을 비롯해 전자책, 학위논문, 비도서 등 138만 8천 권에 이르는 장서를 보유하고 있으며, 중앙도서관이 있는 학술정보관은 학생복합문화공간으로 거듭나기 위한 증축공사를 진행하고 있다. <부경투데이>

The most rented book in 2022 of Pukyong National University library (director Kim Cheol-Soo) was <Almond> (by Son Won-Pyeong).

This novel, which tells the story of a boy's special growth without feeling emotions, has been bestseller in Korea since its publication in 2017. Winner of the 10th Changbi prize for young adult fiction

Following <Almond>, the novel <DollarGut dream store> (written by Lee Mi-Ye) ranked second on the list of books most borrowed by Pukyong National University students last year. This book was also ranked number one in the rental ranking at Yonsei University's library.

The novel <Pachinko> (author Lee Min-Jin), which was also produced as a drama and loved around the world, took 3rd place, <DollarGut dream store 2> took 4th, and the best-selling science fiction <Only Han-Ah on earth> (Chung Se-Rang) took 5th place.

The 6th place was followed by the science fiction <If We can't go at the speed of light> (by Kim Cho-Yeop). This book was the most borrowed book by people in their 20s over the past three years, according to an analysis of book lending by the National Library of Korea last year. Ranking 7 was the novel <Inconvenient convenience store> (Kim Ho-Yeon).

Science books are also very popular. <The silent spring> (by Rachel Carson), which is called a classic of science books in the field of environment, is in 8th place. Published in 1962, this book has had a great impact on changing the world's perception of environmental problems by compiling research results on the ecological effects of pesticides.

In ninth place was <Why fish don’t exist>, written by Lulu Miller, a science reporter who won the Peabody awards, which is called the ‘Pulitzer Prize in the broadcasting industry’, and <Tools of the titans> (Tim Ferriss) ranked 10th.

The Pukyong National University library holds a collection of 1,388 million books, including short fictions, e-books, dissertations, and non-books materials, and the Academic information center with the central library is currently undergoing extension work to become a student complex cultural space. <Pukyong Today>
